Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch is a community-based crime prevention program that involves residents working together with local law enforcement to keep their neighbourhood safe. Volunteers are encouraged to be aware of suspicious activity and report it to the police, while also working to build stronger relationships with their neighbours. Our NOW7 Neighbourhood Watch program can include regular meetings and community events, as well as efforts to reduce crime through activities like crime watch patrols, home security evaluations, and community-wide safety education campaigns.

The goal of these programs is to reduce crime and create a safer, more connected community by empowering residents to take an active role in their neighbourhood's safety. Through increased awareness, communication, and collaboration, Neighbourhood Watch programs help to build stronger, more resilient communities.

PUBLIC SAFETY INFORMATION RESOURCES

Public safety resources refer to the various tools, services, and personnel available to keep individuals and communities safe. These resources may include law enforcement agencies, fire departments, emergency medical services, and disaster response teams. Public safety resources also include infrastructure such as emergency management systems, emergency shelters, and evacuation plans.

These resources play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and protection of individuals and communities, especially in times of crisis. They work to prevent crime, respond to emergencies, and provide aid and support during times of natural disasters and other emergencies. By working together and utilizing a range of public safety resources, communities can create a safer and more secure environment for all residents.
